She meets an elephant who is threatened by ivory hunters. Can the baboon save the elephant? The Barge The first performance on the barge was presented in 1982. Described as: "...one of London's more elusive treasures" it is an established 55 seat theatre with comfortable seating and modern facilities. A unique venue, it is fully heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. The Puppet Barge is rich in atmosphere and provides the ideal setting for the shows produced by this company. We welcome people with disabilities, but due to the historic construction of the vessel we are unable to provide standard wheelchair access. Please make prior arrangements in this regard.
We do have a new Hearing Loop installed in the auditorium.
Shows are given frequently off the barge in other venues, by arrangement and are available for booking.
