Tip the Waiter 

In the primordial soup of rebetiko swirling around London's house parties, jam sessions and cafe gigs, Tip the Waiter formed at the end of 2017 around a nucleus of Kostas (kanun), Sotiris (guitar), Dario (oud) and Gizem (percussion). Their version of rebetiko, crossing borders of space and time and forged during a legendary residency at Cafe Cairo from 2018-2020, reverberates across London's small but lively Mediterranean music scene.

The original line-up returns to London for the first time in 6 years for an intimate evening of songs of longing, despair and celebration.
